Patliputra University, Patna was set up on the eighteenth Walk, 2018, by the request for the Administration of Bihar, vide Letter/notice no. 15/M1-71/2016-700, dated 09.04.2018. All the colleges of Patna and Nalanda locale, Bihar (India), fall under the ward of the Patliputra University except those appended to the Patna University.
